about savor & the loft Since opening on historic Commercial Street in 2010, Savor and The Loft Martini Lounge have established themselves as icons of Springfield, MO. The beautifully decorated Victorian space on the first floor reflects the 1800's time period when the building was built and houses Savor, a casual and affordable fine dining restaurant with savory gourmet cuisine created by our talented and culinary school trained Chef William Peak. The upstairs Loft Martini Lounge is a chic space, adorned with stainless steel, crushed glass bar top, 300 gallon coral reef aquarium, large hand-painted mural by Erik Kinkade, brick walls, and wonderful views of this historic district. The restaurant and bar are ideally located in the center of the Commercial Street Historic District on the SW corner of Commercial ST and Robberson. Our gorgeous chandelier in the main dining room gives the main space a sophisticated glow, while the upstairs (hence the "loft") provides a perfect perch for people watching (open on weekends and available for private events).
